JOINING

On joining Arsenal Soccer Schools Costa del Sol, players will have the possibility of being considered for selection for the squad that will go to the Arsenal International Soccer Festival in London each year. They will also have the possibility of being selected for our own International Iberian Trophy for Peace Tournament held at Easter time. In addition, tickets will be made available to any of the Arsenal home matches at the Emirates Stadium in London. These are extremely hard to get hold of for the general public but can be purchased from us with sufficient advance notice to ensure availability.

Arsenal Coaches from London will also visit the Soccer School twice annually and will view some of the training sessions or matches that might be played during their stay.

Although our main focus is not to scout for the football clubs, we have had one of our players attend the Arsenal Academy in London in 2008, and 3 more of our players will be attending trials for English Premiership football clubs in 2009.

ANNUAL SOCCER SCHOOL FEE:

Each group will have one training session per week, lasting 1.5 hours, taken by Arsenal approved coaches.

The cost for the 2009/2010 season which will run from October to the end of May will be 25 euros per month.

Pupils of the Soccer School will be entitled to a 20% discount off the cost of the Easter, Summer and Christmas football camps should they wish to participate.

ACADEMIC SCHOOLS PROGRAMME:

Arsenal Soccer Schools Costa del Sol are interested in running football programmes in local schools and colleges as part of their involvement in the community. By providing quality, fun training sessions, pupils will be able to enhance their skills and better their game.

We currently provide the Football Training Programme in the Montecalpe School in Algeciras Cádiz, and have seen a vast improvement in many of the young players. In October 2009 we will also be starting the football training in Colegio Puerto Blanco where we will be launching a programme for GIRLS FOOTBALL too!
